Corona Virus – What Arlington Optical is doing to keep you safe

First of all, our store has been sanitized and thoroughly cleaned to keep all of our patients and associates safe. All of our associates are wearing face masks and sanitizing all patient interaction areas between patients.

We are working by appointment to maintain a 10 patient maximum in the store at this time. Please feel free to call ahead and ask if we have availability for you to stop in.

When entering our store, face masks are now optional.

If you have any covid symptoms or have a temperature exceeding 100º, we will ask you to return when you are healthy.

Eye Exams

All patient profile/insurance information will be gathered via phone prior to your visit.

All forms (COVID release form, HIPAA forms, etc) will be signed electronically on a sanitized iPad.

The exam room and exam equipment is sanitized prior to and after each patient visit and has had protective shields installed.

Eyewear appointments

When trying on glasses, you will be safely distanced 6 ft from all other associates and patients.  The optician helping you will wear a face mask and/or shield.  We ask that you remove your face mask to try on frames to get the best fit and look.

All of our frames have been UV sanitized prior to your trying them on and will be sanitized after your visit.

Due to our policy of minimizing the number of patients in the store, we are allowing 1 hour for glasses selection/measurements and ½ hour for lenses only.
