Our People Make the Difference
At Arlington Optical, we understand that a skilled optician is the key to helping you select the right eyewear. Without the expertise of a trained optician, the process of choosing from hundreds of styles, frames, lenses and materials can be daunting. Our licensed and ABO-certified opticians listen carefully to your needs so they can choose the perfect eyewear for your features, lifestyle—and your budget.
At Arlington Optical, we know that creating eyewear with an expert fit and uncompromising comfort is no easy task. But with highly trained opticians focused on delivering personalized attention, we can make it happen. For a quick overview about Arlington Optical, click here.
Owner/CEO/Master Optician – Tim McNemar
Today, Tim celebrates three decades as the owner of Arlington Optical, a career that allows him to live out his passion for blending the art of frame selection with the science of optics. Equipped with a dedicated crew and the latest technology, Tim is committed to providing personalized customer service to all of his patients, including many who have been coming to Arlington Optical for more than 30 years.
Arlington Optical inspires the loyalty usually reserved for family physicians. In fact, some of our patients fly in from Aspen, Chicago, Tampa, Washington, DC and New York City—simply because they cannot find the same exceptional service and quality products elsewhere. As a true testament to Tim’s expertise, many Central Ohio ophthalmologic physicians consistently refer not only their patients to Arlington Optical—but also members of their own family.
Tim’s experience is unique. Not only is he the only optician in North America to be invited to the Tom Davies design studio for on-site design, but some of Tim’s own designs have been added to the Tom Davies global collection.
Optometrist – Leslie Humphrey OD
Dr. Humphrey received her doctorate of optometry from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. She specializes in detailed spectacle prescriptions, contact lens fittings, low-vision evaluations and consultations, and diabetic eye health exams.
